My Word For October Is Consistency

I can’t believe it’s already October 1st! This year has been a whirlwind of craziness for me. From opening my coworking space in Atlanta, to getting a business partner for BGB, to realizing I kind of hate living in Atlanta, to trying to grow my businesses. It’s been a lot.

I let my own projects fall to the wayside because I’ve been so focused on work and honestly, that makes me a little sad. I miss conceptualizing and writing posts, I miss making fun videos for Youtube, and I miss creating content just for the hell of it.

So, in the month of October, my goal is to be consistent with my own projects. That means recording my podcast and actually figuring out what I’m doing on the video front. It also means writing on my blog once a week. At first, I wanted to stick with a specific day of the week but honestly, I want the chance for inspiration to strike. Right now, I’m looking for a photographer and videographer to help me bring my vision to light and it’s all really exciting.

The first part of the month will be full of planning, sometime during the middle of the month I’ll start shooting content, and then fresh content should start coming consistently in the last week of the month. I just decided to start prioritizing myself and my hobbies so it’ll take a little time because I hate putting out mediocre content. I want to find great collaborators to work with and put out great content.
